About Us

The Cromo Foundation was established in 2002 with the aim of contributing to the continuous development of the civil sector and the strengthening of a participatory, active, democratic society in Hungary and Europe through its trainings and development projects.

School Community Service

What is community service?

Community service is an organized, voluntary activity carried out for the benefit of the learner’s local community, focusing on social and environmental causes, independent of material gain, performed individually or in groups, and includes pedagogical reflection. (Definition according to Section 4, Paragraph 13 of the Interpretative Provisions)

High school students are required to complete 50 hours of community service before their graduation exams.
