School Community Service

Community service refers to a social, environmental, or other activity that benefits the student’s local community. It is carried out in an organized framework, independent of financial interests, either individually or in groups, and includes pedagogical reflection.
(Interpretative provision, Act CXC of 2011 on National Public Education, Section 4 (13))

Before graduating, Hungarian high school students are required to complete 50 hours of community service. These activities help students develop civic awareness, responsibility, and practical skills while contributing to their communities.

If you’re a high school student in Hungary looking to complete your school community service hoursget in touch with us!
