Our MIssion

The Cromo Foundation was established in 2002 with the aim of contributing to the continuous development of the civil sector through its training programs and development projects, thereby strengthening a participatory, active, and democratic society in Hungary and across Europe. The diversity of our team ensures that our programs are both professionally credible and people-oriented – our trainings, research activities, and community projects are carried out by experienced and dedicated professionals.

Would you like to be a volunteer or an intern?

We have been providing internship opportunities for various universities for years.
We have offered internship placements for Hungarian and international students from the Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education at ELTE PPK.
We have also provided research opportunities for international students from the CEU Student Think Tank.
Possible tasks include: event organization, research, participation in awareness-raising campaigns, and community organizing.

What is community service?

“Community service: a social, environmental, or other activity that serves the benefit of the student’s local community, carried out in an organized framework, independent of financial interests, individually or in groups, and accompanied by pedagogical processing.” (Interpretative provision, Act CXC of 2011 on National Public Education, Section 4 (13))

Before graduation, high school students are required to complete 50 hours of community service.
